"I said, `What's up?' " Crim said. "He said, `It's my back,bro. I don't know if I can make it.' "
"I got to thinking, `Now what do we do? Who's going to pitch?'Then they told me. Me."
Then what?
"Well, I was surprised, sure. Then I got an adrenaline rush youwouldn't believe. I'm glad it rained before the game. It calmed medown, gave me a chance to relax."
