Qld: Beattie concedes he may lose up to 16 seats

Queensland Premier PETER BEATTIE has conceded he could lose 16 seats or more in the
state election.

A pollin The Courier Mail yesterday puts the Labor party in the lead at 55 per cent,
but their primary vote is down 10 per cent.

Mr BEATTIE says that could mean a loss of 14 to 16 seats, and maybe more, in the February
7th election.
